Verulamium Park boasts beautiful green open spaces, diverse wildlife and is famed for being situated on the ancient Roman city of the same name. We were delighted to be involved with enhancing the visitor experience at this fascinating historic site by designing, manufacturing and installing custom fingerposts, welcome signs and 3D maps.
The launch was held on a warm, sunny day, making our signs gleam beautifully. We had a fantastic time at the event and were delighted to meet Mayor of St Albans City and District Council, Cllr Geoff Harrison, who unveiled the park’s new signage. Local councillors, stakeholders and various volunteers were amongst those who also attended the launch.

The new signs are part of an initiative by St Albans City and District Council, in partnership with the Countryside Management Service (CMS), to help visitors orientate the park and create continuity throughout the grounds by replacing the original mismatching signs. CMS also hope the signage will help maintain Verulamium Park’s Green Flag status.

CMS Project Officer, Jon Collins, was delighted with the outcome of the launch event, he said: “It was great to see the new entrance and orientation signage in Verulamium Park officially launched by the Mayor of St Albans. There has been a great deal of expectation linked to this project and we could not have been more pleased with the quality of the finished products and the reception they have received. Staging the launch event on a warm summer’s day really helped to remind everyone present just how popular Verulamium Park is, and the vital role that the new signage will perform.”
